(2014년에는 두 대회 모두 저희 학교 교회에서 행사를 가졌습니다.)

    학생 본인의 꿈을 한국말로 말하기 대회로서

   약 3~4분 정도 원고를 작성하여 충분히 암기하여 또박 또박 speech하면 됩니다.

    대회는 4/18(토) 예정되어 있습니다.

2) 동요대회

    독창 혹은 중창으로 팀을 만들어서 한국 동요 중에서 자유곡 1곡과 지정곡 1곡을

    부르는 대회로서 일단 한국 동요를 충분히 정확하게 발성할 수 있어야 하고

    어느 정도 노래 실력이 있어야 합니다.

    대회는 5/2(토) 개최됩니다만

    이번에는 저희 학교 학생 중에서 신청자가 있다면

    자체적인 audition을 통하여 선발하여 출전하고자 합니다.

이 두 대회에 관심이 있거나 참여하고자 하는 학부모께서는

저에게 3/21(토)까지 이메일 혹은 전화, 문자로 알려주십시요.

The National Association for Korean Schools, Mid-Atlantic Chapter will have 2 contests (Sing a children song contest and my dream speech contest) as follows and if anyone is interested in and will attend, please let me know until 3/21(Sat) by email or text to me.

1) My Dream Speech Contest

   a student should make a speech in Korean clearly about his or her dream for 3~4 minutes.

   if he or she can memorize  the manuscript, it would be better.

   the contest will be scheduled on 4/18(Sat)

2) Sing a children song Contest

  a solo or group can attend at this contest.  the students should song one designated song and one self selected song.

  for this contest, our school will make audition to select participants before the contest and practice once in a week.

  the participants should sing a Korean children song clearly.

  this contest is scheduled on 5/2(Sat).
