정체
기쁨의 교회는 필라델피아 지역에서 하나님의 자녀로 부름받은 사람들이 함께 모여 예배하고(leiturgia), 그리스도 안에 한 가족으로 엮어지고(koinonia), 복음 선포(kerygma)와 섬김(diakonia)과 공의로운 삶(dikaioma)을 위하여 훈련받고 세상으로 파송되는 신앙 공동체입니다.
비전
우리는 21세기의 미주 한인 개혁주의 장로교회로써 성경적이며 역사적으로 참된 모형을 제시하는 교회가 되려합니다.
사역 가치
1. 과거에서 배우고, 미래를 향한다.
(1) 우리는 변천하는 세상에서 영원히 변치 않는 말씀에 따라 “개혁교회는 항상 개혁한다”는 16세기 종교개혁의 정신을 이어갑니다.
(2) 우리는 웨스트민스터 신앙고백과 십이신조로 요약되고 대변되는 개혁주의 신앙을 표방합니다.
(3) 우리는 다수의 지도력, 성경 중심 사상, 진리 습득을 통한 개혁의 장로교회 원리를 교회의 삶 전 영역에 적용하도록 노력합니다.
(4) 우리는 20세기에 북미주에 심겨진 한국 장로교의 선한 전통(기도, 회개, 오래참음, 충성, 해방과 순례적 삶)을 이제 역사적 흐름에 따라 필연적으로 언어와 문화와 인종의 다양화가 이루어 지고 있는 과정에서도 발전시켜 갑니다.
2. 성령 안에 거하고 성장한다.
(1) 우리는 하나님의 말씀을 최상의 가치로 인정하며 그것을 믿고, 이해하고, 사랑하고, 생활하도록 노력합니다.
(2) 우리는 예배, 즉 매일 자신을 하나님께 복종시키는 것과 매주 공동체로 하나님의 보좌 앞에 나아가는 것을 소중히 알고 행합니다.
(3) 우리는 성장을 확장 보다 변화로 측정합니다.
(4) 우리는 교회 공동체의 기초가 되는 각 가정의 중요성을 이해하고 하나님께서 아름답게 창조하신 의도 대로 건강한 가정이 양육되도록 합니다.
3. 은사와 자원을 개발하고 사용한다.
(1) 우리는 피차 받은 은사와 소명을 인정해 주고, 실력 향상을 독려하며, 기독교 세계관을 교육하여 하나님의 영광을 위하여 살도록 합니다.
(2) 우리는 생산적인 삶이 그리스도인을 향한 하나님의 뜻임을 인정하며 그것을 통하여 나눔의 삶과 ‘외인들’에게 인정받은 삶이 이루어 지도록 격려합니다.
(3) 우리는 하나님께서 주신 은사와 자원들을 사용하여 교회 공동체를 더 아름답게 만들어 갑니다.
4. 파트너쉽을 지향하며 그리스도를 증거한다.
(1) 우리는 세대 간 뿐 아니라 모든 사람들 사이에 벽을 허물고 다리를 놓는 일에 헌신하며 이웃에게 공격적이기 보다는 성육신 적인 효과적인 그리스도의 증인이 되려한다.
(2) 우리는 같은 마음을 품고 있는 사역들과 어디에서든지 동역하여 그리스도의 지상 대 명령 (마태복음28:18-20)의 성취를 위하여 순종하려 합니다.

Identity
Jubilee Presbyterian Church is a community of people -- set apart by God to be His own in Jesus Christ, planted in the Greater Philadelphia area, -- which gathers to worship (leiturgia), to be strengthened as God’s household (koinonia), and to be equipped and commissioned into the world for the life of gospel-proclamation (kerygma), service (diakonia) and justice (dikaioma).
Vision
We desire to be a biblically and historically true Korean-American Reformed Presbyterian church in the 21st century for others to follow.
Values
1. Claiming the Past, Open to Future:
(1) We continue the spirit of the 16th century Reformation that “the Reformed Church is always reforming” according to the unchanging Word of God in the ever changing world.
(2) We hold to the Reformed faith summarized and represented in the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Creed of the Twelve Articles.
(3) We live out the implications of the Presbyterian principles – plurality of leadership, centrality of the Scripture, and openness to learning – in all areas of the church life.
(4) We advance the heritage of Korean Presbyterianism (prayer, repentance, long-suffering, loyalty, liberation, and pilgrimage) transplanted to North America in the 20th century as it moves towards the next stage in its history as it naturally and inevitably becomes a faith movement more diversified in language, culture, and ethnicity.
2. Living and Growing in the Spirit:
(1) We hold the Word of God as a matter of central importance, and we strive to believe, understand, love and live it.
(2) We cherish worship as both a daily personal life of surrender and a weekly communal approach to the throne of God.
(3) We measure growth not by expansion but by transformation.
(4) We nurture healthy families according to God’s design for each home, affirming that family is a foundational communal unit that makes up the larger church community.
3. Developing and Utilizing Resources:
(1) We endeavor to identify in each other the gifts and personalized callings from God, to sharpen skills and to reinforce Christian worldview so that we may effectively engage the world for God’s glory.
(2) We believe that a productive life is God’s mandate to Christians so that we may live a life of generosity and win respect from the ‘outsiders’.
(3) We seek to utilize our God-given resources to build our church community stronger.
4. Building Local/Global Ministry Partnership:
(1) We strive to break barriers and to build bridges among all generations and among all peoples, in order to become effective witnesses of Jesus Christ for the neighbors through an incarnational, not intrusive, presence.
(2) We collaborate with like-minded ministries both local and global in order to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord (Matthew 28:18-20).
